What is Naruto and why is it so compelling to 11 year old boys?
First of all, Naruto is, from what I understand, a way for Mom's to spend large amounts of money purchasing collectible cards which have names which are very difficult to pronounce.
That of course, is only the beginning. You must then be able to find a store which sells such collectible cards so that your 11 year old son can purchase them from the money which he has diligently earned by performing extra chores around the house.
Of course, once the cards are purchased, the chores cease immediately.
I suppose the only consolation is that the Boy is learning to speak Japanese.

Thoughts on being a Mom
I have decided to write about my life.........actually and more importantly my children.
Perhaps, one day, as a means of communication, if anything, my children will come to the realization (of course by reading these memoirs) that Mom is in fact not crazy.
Thoughts often come to me in a variety of forms and I have in fact decided to record many for future reference and as a means of keeping my sanity.
I must begin by saying that I have four children, all of which are boys, ranging in age from 8 to 16.
Everyday life events have recently taken me by surprise. In short, my children are growing up before my eyes and each and every day brings a new and interesting revelation.
Therefore, I have decided to record events which take place in their lives, or things which they say or do for future reference.
